Sven Lingjaerde Chairman of the Board
Sven is currently Managing Partner of Endeavour Vision, a pan-European venture capital firm, which he co-founded. In 1996, he co-founded Vision Capital, a Trans-Atlantic technology venture capital firm with €140 million under management. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director of Genevest, which he joined in 1987. Through his leadership, Genevest developed an excellent track record of early to late stage investments in High Tech and Biotech ventures on both sides of the Atlantic.
With over 20 years of Venture Capital experience, Sven has developed an extensive network in Europe, Silicon Valley, the Middle East and India. This network of contacts was leveraged through the European Tech Tour Association that
he
founded in 1998. The European Tech Tour Association www.techtour.com is an independent non-profit organisation that identifies and promotes emerging European technology companies and exposes them to a selective group of high level executives, representing large technology corporate, international venture capital firms and corporate advisors.
Sven - a veteran European venture capitalist - was recognised for his contribution in shaping the European technology ecosystem through a number of awards and was featured in many international publications. Thanks to his reputation in the industry, he is regularly approached by venture capitalists, research centres, entrepreneurs, analysts and corporations with new investment opportunities. He is also an active speaker at industry events and forums.
Sven studied business administration at HEC, Lausanne, Switzerland and graduated from the ECADE business school, also in Lausanne.

Daniel Bertholet Investment Manager
Daniel manages the existing portfolio of Genevest and is currently Investment Director in the Life Sciences practice at Endeavour Vision, focusing on medtech investments. Daniel invested in CeQur, Endoart (sold to Allergan), Thommen Medical (exited), Kuros Biosurgery, Novalar Pharmaceuticals and Neocutis.
Prior to his venture capital career, Daniel was the co-founder and CFO of a technology start-up and has invested as a business angel/private investor in private companies for over a decade. Daniel started his career as a consultant in country risk assessment for Business Environment Risk Intelligence (BERI) in the US and Switzerland.
Daniel holds an MBA with honours from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris and a MA in International Political Economy from the American University in Washington DC.
